SI sells End User License Agreements ("EULA") that provide a Licensee the right to use the program and associated software within specified time limits. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by SI.

SI offers BUCK Ver. 1.0 (Software) under two (2) types of EULA:

a. SINGLE-END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This non-transferable license permits a Licensee to use BUCK Ver. 1.0 on only ONE (1) personal computer at a time. The license prohibits the Licensee from sharing, copying, or distributing the Software without obtaining prior written permission from SI.

b. MULTIPLE-END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

The non-transferable multiple-user license permits the licensee to use BUCK Ver. 1.0 on multiple computers, within a single organization, simultaneously. The license prohibits the Licensee from sharing, copying, or further distribution.

A Single-EULA for 2 years is available at a per unit price of US $1200.00. A Multiple-EULA for 2 years is available for a price of US $1200.00 for the initial EULA, plus 25% (US $300.00) for each additional license. Prices are subject to change without notice. Discounts are available to institutions for educational use. Appropriate taxes apply. A Single-EULA renewal for a period of 2 years is available for US $400.00 (US $100.00 for each additional Multiple-EULA).

LIMITED WARRANTY. SI warrants to the original Licensee only, that the Program shall be substantially free from defects in materials and workmanship for sixty (60) days from the date of execution of the License Agreement. If within 60 days of purchase the media proves to be defective in any way, you may return the media and the License Agreement to SYLVANIA INTERNATIONAL, 304 Jensen Rd., London, Ontario, CANADA N5V 4X3.

EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. The original Licensee's exclusive remedy for the breach of this License shall be, at SI's option, either (a) the repair or replacement of the Program that does not meet SI's Limited Warranty; or (b) a refund of the License Agreement price, if the media and original License Agreement are returned.

If the results of model calibration show, for certain tree species, a definite trend of volume prediction errors over tree sizes, the user might find the program insufficient. In such case the user may request a refund (within 60 days from the execution of the License Agreement), or (b) a consulting service from SI, for an additional negotiated fee, to obtain a useful set of coefficients for the models which provide unbiased timber volume predictions. This would require submitting to SI a stem-analysis data set in an electronic format defined by the User Manual.

PURCHASE. To buy a License, send a signed License Agreement (2 copies) and a certified check or money order to SYLVANIA INTERNATIONAL, 304 Jensen Rd., London, Ontario, CANADA N5V 4X3. The product will be delivered within 2 weeks. The payment will be cashed after obtaining from a client confirmation of receiving the product.
